An entrepreneur from Birmingham is set to give local businesses a welcome boost.
Amanda Britton has become the new manager of Edward’s Restaurant located inside Erdington based Cookes Furniture and will source all of the produce she sells from the region’s businesses.
Amanda Britton, owner of Brittons caterers, said: “Taking on Edward’s Restaurant is a new and exciting challenge for me and I just cannot wait to get started.
“I wanted to create a spin on what I already do with my other businesses; Brittons’ ethos is to support local companies therefore everything produced is local to us.
“Working in the catering industry for over 31 years I know how important it is to know where your food is from, all food will be freshly prepared and homemade.”
‘Edward’s’ was chosen as the new name in memory of the founder and father to chairman Graham Cooke.
