New homes for first time buyers at The Green

A leading luxury housebuilder has just released a selection of properties perfect for first time buyers in Cheshire.

Charles Church North West is currently offering two, three and four bedroom homes at The Green in Middlewich from just £130,995.

With the Government’s Help To Buy scheme, that means local people could buy their very own two bedroom semi for as little £104,797*.

Sales director David Hodgson said: “We meet lots of people dreaming of owning their first home, and often they think it is completely out of reach. That is why Help To Buy is such a shot in the arm for buyers – it really does being home ownership within the grasp of many more people.

“Charles Church is renowned for its prestige luxury homes, built to a high standard and specification. This new release of properties at The Green is perfect for first time buyers or downsizers who we know will be amazed by how much they can get for their money.

“Middlewich is a great village, in a really convenient location, and The Green is a very popular development. Now, with Help To Buy, anyone wanting to purchase here will only need to put down a five per cent deposit – great news for first time buyers!”

Help To Buy was introduced in the Budget and is a shared equity scheme where the Government lends up to 20 per cent of the value of a new build property, meaning buyers only need to secure a 75 per cent mortgage.

The equity loan is interest free for the first five years and does not need to be paid back until the mortgage term ends or until the property is sold.

David Hodgson added: “Our ‘Moulton’ two bedroom homes include a downstairs cloakroom, kitchen and lounge with French doors to the garden, making it a fantastic first home. While the three bedroom, semi-detached ‘Hanbury’ is a stunning family house with a lounge and dining kitchen, downstairs cloaks, French doors leading to the rear garden, family bathroom and en suite to the master bedroom.”

Middlewich is a market town with a long history that was mentioned in the Doomsday Book. It lies on the confluence of three rivers, The Dane, Croco and Wheelock, and offers great sports and leisure facilities that cater for football, cricket and golf enthusiasts, together with tennis and fishing.

The Green is close to the motorway network and open countryside. The development is open for viewings from Thursday to Monday, 11am to 6pm.
