Workers in Long Marston preview new homes

Workers in Long Marston are being treated to an exclusive preview of a brand new local development before it is officially launched to the public.

The UK’s largest house builder, Persimmon Homes, is set to launch the offer at the Marston Grange development on the Friday 2nd August aimed specifically at people employed on the Long Marston Estate.

Persimmon Homes and planners at Stratford-on-Avon District Council have earmarked a selection of two, three and four bedroom homes at Marston Grange that can only be purchased by local workers.  The scheme aims to revisit the days when workers lived and worked within a small area and could even walk to work.

It is anticipated that people living just a short distance from their place of work can not only save money on their travel costs, a very short commute to work has the potential to improve their work life balance with less time spent travelling to and from work.

Local workers interested in a new home at Marston Grange on Campden Road are urged to act now to secure one of the plots available.   Persimmon plan to launch the wider development on the 10th August, therefore, local workers must take advantage of the ten day head-start to secure one of the specially selected homes.

Alison Reading, sales and marketing director at Persimmon Homes, confirmed: “We have experienced a great deal of interest in the homes at Marston Grange and I would advise workers on the Long Marston Estate to visit us to find out more about this offer.

“There has never been a better time to buy a new home with the Government backed Help to Buy scheme, Part Exchange and NewBuy all available on these homes at Marston Grange.”
