A 10 MILLION POUND BOOST FOR BIDFORD-ON-AVON

One of the country’s leading housebuilders is set to develop in the picturesque village of Bidford-on-Avon after securing 4 acres of land.

Persimmon Homes South Midlands plans to build 48 new houses on the land, formerly an orchard, at Waterloo Road in Bidford-on-Avon, Warwickshire.

Construction at the site, named Belle Fields, is scheduled to commence in September and  properties are expected to be available in early January 2014.

Speaking of the new development, Richard Oldroyd, Managing Director at Persimmon Homes South Midlands, said “Belle Fields is an exciting £10 million pound development that will provide a range of properties that we are confident will meet the needs of the Bidford-on-Avon property market.”

The new site will feature a range of two, three and four bedroom properties suitable for first-time buyer starter homes through to larger properties for growing families providing an extensive choice of house types at affordable prices.

In addition to the new properties the development will also benefit from the Section 106 contribution made by Persimmon Homes that will help to fund improved public transport, healthcare facilities, a library, policing and new public open spaces.

Richard added: “We take pride in all we do from selecting sites in prime locations, to our high standard of workmanship and the service we provide to our customers both during and after they purchase a home from us.”
