The early bird catches the business worm

Two Wrexham businesses have joined forces to provide early morning workers with the most important meal of the day.

Lynn’s Cafe and Volkswagen Van Centre Wrexham have launched a customer initiative to provide the van centre’s service customers with a hearty breakfast whilst their vehicle was being worked on.

The van centre, which is based at Rhosrobin, is open from 8.00am every day, including Saturday, to accommodate customers who would like to service their vehicle before they embark on their working day.

Alan Austin, sales manager at Volkswagen Van Centre Wrexham, explained the link between the two businesses.

“We understand the impact it has on businesses when our customers’ vehicles require servicing or MOT’s, and we work hard to limit the vehicle down time,” said Alan.

“The new ‘Early Bird’ servicing is aimed at getting van drivers back on the road as early in the day as we can.

“By linking with Lynn’s Café, we’re hoping to make a positive contribution to the Wrexham business community.

“Not only will it help increase footfall to Lynn’s Café, but it will help local businesses stay on the road longer, delivering their services to the people of Wrexham.”

All of Volkswagen Van Centre Wrexham’s ‘Early Bird’ customers will receive a voucher for a free cooked breakfast and a mug of something hot, while they wait for their van to be serviced, to be redeemed at Lynn’s Café which is just across the road from the van centre.

Lynn Pace, owner of Lynn’s Cafe, said: “We are delighted to be working with Volkswagen Van Centre Wrexham and providing people with what is said to be the most important meal of the day.

“The ‘Early Bird’ service is a great idea and we hope many people take up the offer to help get them started for the working day.”
