VIP visit for Vulcan Park

A new homes development in Newton-le-Willows received a visit from a group of very important people – members of its neighbouring bowling club.

Persimmon North West previously donated £350 towards the defibrillator appeal for Vulcan Bowling Club, and in return the club took the opportunity to visit the showhome at the housebuilder’s Vulcan Park development.

Sales director for Persimmon Homes North West, David Hodgson, said: “The bowling club is located right next to our new homes development, Vulcan Park, so we have been in contact with them during the early stages of building and they were very grateful for the donation to their appeal.

“We also supplied them with some warm jumpers, to help them enjoy their bowling whatever the weather, and they all said they were proud to be wearing the Persimmon colours.

“When the showhome was ready for customers, we invited the members over to take a look around. I think they were very impressed with what they saw and who knows, maybe one of two will fancy moving into a new home so close to their clubhouse?

“What’s more, for people moving in before Christmas we will also offer free carpets, turf and fencing on selected plots, so they could have that great family get-together in their new home.”

Vulcan Park, off Wargrave Road, is the latest site from Persimmon Homes, offering three and four bedroom homes to suit a wide range of buyers.

Homes available at the site range from the three bedroom ‘Hanbury’ style house for just £135,995* up to the spacious four bedroom ‘Cherryburn’, with detached garage, convenient utility room, a useful study and a master bedroom with en suite bathroom.

David added: “At Vulcan Park we are able to offer Help To Buy, the Government supported shared equity scheme designed to help first time buyers onto the housing ladder, NewBuy mortgages which require just a five per cent deposit, and Persimmon HomeChange, making it easier to trade up to a new home as well as saving time, stress and money.”
