The three, who will be based in the company’s Head Office in Llantrisant, will lead the company forward with plans to build 1,000 new homes in South Wales – they will also oversee a national recruitment drive to help deliver these new properties in record time.

Keen cyclist Martin, 45, who lives with his wife and two children, has a wealth of experience in the commercial, construction, sub-contracting and housing sectors, standing him in good stead as he hits the ground running with Persimmon Homes.

Martin says: “I’m delighted to join the ranks at Persimmon Homes and look forward to helping move Wales forward and out of the recession. I want to ensure we build on our past success – I’m extremely keen to invest in the local community. Creating jobs and utilising local constructors and suppliers is very important to us as a business.”

“With several new land purchases now confirmed and with more in the pipeline, 2014 will be a very exciting year for East Wales. Growing up in Pontrypridd, I am looking forward to working in an area with close family connections, and having the opportunity to provide more Welsh house buyers the chance to buy brand new quality homes,” Dave said.

The new senior team will be also be expanded with existing Persimmon Homes employee Richard Keogh, who will take up the position of Technical and Special Projects Director.

Richard, 40, who lives with his wife and three children in Penarth, has over 15 years experience in the housebuilding industry.
