A sales advisor was given a special presentation in recognition of a quarter of a century of loyal service at a leading house builder.
Persimmon Homes North West stalwart Carole Dudgeon, from Wigan, was presented with gift vouchers, champagne, flowers and cards at the company’s annual ball at the Thistle Haydock hotel in Merseyside.
“It was at our annual work’s do, which is always a great night and a chance for staff to let their hair down,” said Carole. “It was a complete surprise – I honestly didn’t see it coming.
“I absolutely love my job and all of the people, which is just as well when you’ve been here as long as I have.”
Carole recalled joining the Persimmon Homes team from another home builder in 1989. She said the transition was so smooth because of the people around her.
She continued: “When I changed jobs, I was lucky enough to be working with some absolutely brilliant people who went on to become some of my closest friends.
“I’m just so fortunate to work alongside a great team, and people like Neil Follows (managing director of Persimmon Homes North West) really are brilliant to work under.”
Carole’s day-to-day job consists of advising customers about the advantages of buying a house with Persimmon and helping with the running of a site from one day to the next, with her last development being at Bluebell Wood, Winstanley, near Wigan.

“The experience she now brings to the job is very important to the company.”
