Work began this week on a major refurbishment by a leading Cardiff business providing an investment boost to the local economy.
Sinclair Volkswagen Cardiff, part of the Sinclair Group with further Volkswagen sites in Port Talbot, Swansea, Bridgend, Neyland and Newport, will undergo a £400,000 facelift.
But the dealership at East Tyndall Street, is keen to assure customers that it is ‘business as usual’ while the programme of work is underway.
Richard Seaward, brand manager at Sinclair Volkswagen Cardiff, said: “This is a significant investment by the Sinclair Group, with the iconic Volkswagen brand going from strength to strength.

During the refurbishment the showroom will be overhauled resulting in state-of-the art customer-focused amenities. The digital showroom will enable customers to configure their dream car on in-store iPads featuring a dedicated Volkswagen app.
The work is expected to be finished by the end of January.
Richard added: “I would like to assure customers that there will be no interruption to service during our refurbishment and that it is business as usual from us all. Our sales and servicing receptions will operate from portable cabins on our forecourt, but I know our customers will support us during our re-fit.
