Connect PR wins No5 Chambers account

Leading PR specialist Connect PR has been appointed by No5 Chambers.

The award-winning agency will provide publicity support to No5, and to No5’s not-for-profit referral company NoVate Direct Legal Solutions, which launched last year.

No5, which has its head office in Steelhouse Lane in the city, also has branches in London, Bristol and the East Midlands. It is one of the largest sets of barristers chambers in the UK with more than 240 members including 27 Queens Counsel.

Throughout its 100 year history, No5 has established a reputation for breaking new ground and continues to be regarded as progressive and forward-thinking. Last year it was crowned Chambers of the Year in The Lawyer Awards 2014.

Hazel Crawford, managing director of Connect PR said: “I’m delighted that we will be working with No5 Chambers, who have a proud history and are one the largest barristers chambers in the country.

“This is an exciting time for Connect PR and securing the account of No5 Chambers underlines that.”

No5 barrister Ian Brownhill made the news recently when he helped secure £700,000 of government cash to continue the search for missing toddler Ben Needham. Ben was just 21 months old when he went missing from the Greek island of Kos in 1991.

Mr Brownhill worked with Ben’s family and contacted the Home Office to ask why it had taken 10 months to reply to a funding request from South Yorkshire Police.

Tony McDaid, Practice Director at No5 added: “We are pleased to be working with Connect PR and look forward to a successful and production partnership.

“After being named Chambers of the Year last year, 2015 looks like being busier than ever, and with the help of Connect PR we are determined to build on that with more success in the future.”
