A Burton business is celebrating a sixth coveted Volkswagen Service Quality Award as it takes its place in the global superbrand’s ‘Hall of Fame’.
TL Darby Volkswagen, based at Centrum East Retail Park, received the award in recognition of the company’s outstanding customer service performance.
Richard Darby, brand manager, said: “The European Service Award acknowledges the extraordinary commitment made by our team to deliver exceptional aftersales service, and the team here in Burton was complemented on its continued dedication to excellence.
“This is the sixth time we have won, after months of healthy competition against dealerships from across the network
“In addition to the title, we have won a trip to Dresden, Germany, for service staff to collect the award and meet their counterparts from across Europe as well as senior members of Volkswagen management.
“A clear focus on customer satisfaction and its importance in building customer loyalty has been a major factor in our success, so I wish to thank all of the TL Darby team at Burton for their impressive performance. I am very proud of our achievement.”
The VSQAs are presented each year to businesses that deliver outstanding performance. TL Darby previously won in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Only retailers who exceed Volkswagens targets for overall customer satisfaction and first-time fix results are considered for VSQA titles.
At the end of last year, TL Darby moved to a new purpose-built modern showroom at Centrum East Retail Park, enabling the company to fully meet the needs of its expanding business and continue to deliver award-winning service to valued customers.
