MAN makes its mark with Tardis

Walsall-based Tardis Environmental is turning to MAN Truck & Bus UK as it looks to replace vehicles in its 100-strong fleet.

A new MAN TGM 26.340 6×4 with a tipper chassis fitted with a Whale tanker is the latest addition.

Director Robin Boydon, explained: “We have a mixed fleet of about 100 trucks and our experience is that the MAN is the most reliable vehicle we have.

“I picked up a 2009 plate MAN from Scottish Water and I have never experienced any problems with it at all. That and the fact that the MAN brand offers value for money made the decision easy for us.”

The firm which deals with wet waste, and now has a bulk water supply arm, operates nationwide.

Robin added: “We have just taken this new TGM, and I will be looking to take four more MANs in the near future as vehicles need replacing. They represent such value for money.”

Mike Richards, MAN sales executive, added: “It is a pleasure to deal with Tardis and their enthusiasm for the brand is second to none.

“We look forward to doing business with them in the future and further meeting their needs for cost-effective, reliable vehicles.”
