MAN provides the muscle for civil engineering haulage firm

Four new MAN TGS 35.400 join fleet of Salford-based J O’Shea & Sons.

Company director Des O’Shea has remained loyal to MAN Truck & Bus UK for the last 30 years and is delighted to have taken delivery of four new vehicles into his 23-strong fleet.

The trucks are already in service on the A6 Hazel Grove by pass in south Manchester.

Des explained: “I have had MAN for the last 30 years and I see no reason to change. I like them and the drivers like them. They have proven themselves reliable and durable and working in this industry that is something we view as important.”

The deal has been financed through MAN Financial Services.

J O’Shea & Sons was founded in 1959, offering bulk excavation, transport, demolition, remediation, enabling works and, more recently, aggregate recycling facilities for the construction industry in the North West and beyond.

Nathan Keegan, MAN direct sales executive, working out of MAN Truck & Bus UK’s Bailey Road site in Manchester, added: “It is a fantastic testament to the MAN brand through the years that J O’Shea & Sons have shown such loyalty.

“We are glad to have been able to provide four new TGS 35.400s to the company and that the financial package also made it an attractive package. We look forward to working together in the future.”
