The UK’s leading national waste management company, CSG, has appointed 8848 Communications to handle its UK consumer and trade PR.
The Staffordshire-based full-service agency was appointed after impressing directors with its work with other key clients, combined with its hands on, whole-agency approach.
CSG operates more than 25 facilities across the UK, with a team of drivers, operatives and specialist consultants working together on the goal of diverting waste from landfill, recovering and recycling as much as possible.
With CSG’s constant expansion, 8848 will also be put to work on its company sub-divisions – Oil Monster and Willacy Oil Services.
Neil Richards, CSG managing director, said: “8848 understood our aims as a company and, after a competitive pitch process, we were impressed with the vision, understanding and creative approach shown by the team at 8848.
“I am confident that together we will improve brand awareness across a number of key sectors, delivering effective communication of our brand and business credentials to help promote services, benefits and technical expertise.”
Hazel Crawford, managing director at 8848 Communications, said: “We’re already off to a flying start for new wins in 2018, as we grow our client portfolio, as well as cementing our offering to those clients in terms of traditional marketing, digital, PR, content, video and social media.
“The team has already visited several of CSG’s facilities to receive a thorough briefing on the specialist processes and services offered by the group in order to deliver a comprehensive communications strategy in partnership with the in-house marketing team. We look forward to working with them to promote CSG as a leading expert in waste management.”
8848’s other big-name clients include the UK’s leading housebuilder Persimmon Homes, Triton Tools, Selco Builders Warehouse, Higgs & Sons Solicitors and FUCHS Lubricants.
