A leading Blackpool company is seeking a local charity to support throughout 2015.
Lookers Volkswagen Blackpool, based at Ashworth Road, is inviting registered charities in the region to put themselves forward to be the focus for corporate fundraising activities.
Mike Pollitt, brand manager for Blackpool Volkswagen, explained: “Every year our staff organise or take part in a range of fundraising activities, such as team building exercises and customer events.
“We can think of hundreds of deserving causes but as a Blackpool business we would ideally like all our efforts to benefit local people in the first instance.
“So we are inviting registered charities based in this area to get in touch and tell us about their work. The team here at the dealership will then vote for their favourite cause and all the fundraising we do this year will be in aid of that organisation.”
