Health and safety advisor joins Persimmon

One of the UK’s largest housebuilder’s has appointed a new health and safety advisor for its Yorkshire and West Yorkshire regional businesses.

Lee Howard (40) has joined Persimmon Homes and brings eight years health and safety experience gained in a range of industries including the construction, power and agricultural sectors.

Lee’s role will require him to be involved in project planning, workforce training and performance monitoring to support the successful implementation of the Persimmon Group’s Health & Safety Policy and Procedures in both the Yorkshire and West Yorkshire businesses.

Speaking of his appointment Lee said: “I am delighted to be joining such a well-known housebuilder. I have dedicated a lot of time and money to establish my career in the health and safety industry and I am very pleased to be sharing my skills and ultimately progressing my career with Persimmon.

“Currently I am familiarising myself with the business and visiting the vast number of developments, providing additional training where needed.”
