New build brings new start for Swindon family

A widowed Wiltshire man is over the moon with his brand new home as he starts a new chapter in his life.

Kelvin Kriescher decided to move to Persimmon @ Wichelstowe, a popular residential development in Swindon, following the death of his wife in 2011.  He desired a home that was individually designed and ideally located to make new memories for his family.

The move was made possible by part exchanging his existing property in Walcot to a four bedroom semi-detached town house.

“After my wife passed away we really wanted to start a new chapter in our lives, where new memories could be created,” said Kelvin. “I wanted somewhere where it would be close for my children to attend school and college, but still just the right distance from the town centre.

“Having looked into Persimmon’s Part Exchange scheme I realised it was the easiest way to move.  The staff at Wichelstowe were superb and certainly made me feel at ease throughout the whole process.  We are thrilled with our new spacious home, and love the fact our home is like no one else’s on the site.”

Pauline Fletcher, sales and marketing director of Persimmon Homes Wessex, said; “We have a range of incentives at Persimmon @ Wichelstowe to help people move.  Part Exchange is a popular scheme and we are so pleased that we were able to assist Kelvin and his family to move into their new home.

“The scheme helps those with a property to sell and we aim to make the whole process totally stress-free.  Help to Buy and NewBuy are also available at Persimmon @ Wichelstowe, which enable buyers to purchase a brand new home with only a five per cent deposit.”

Persimmon @ Wichelstowe comprises 23 different and individually styled, two, three, four and five bedroom homes, with prices starting from £153,596.
