A Newport manager is celebrating after being crowned Manager of the Year at a national UK motor industry event.
Laura Williams, from Sinclair Volkswagen Newport, received the Business Manager of the Year award at the annual AM awards, which recognises the very best in the automotive retail sector.
Laura was presented with her award at the glittering award ceremony at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre, after impressing judges with her resourceful management style and approachable leadership qualities.
Speaking of the event Laura said: “I am delighted to have won this award. The AM Awards are a memorable event and are well respected by everybody in the business. To be recognised as the country’s best business manager is a complete honour, I am truly thrilled.
“I see this award as a tribute to what is more than just a typical car retailer. I have a great team who are all very committed to looking after all of our customers. Even after two years in the role I relish the challenge to continually enhance our service and strengthen the business.
“I would like to congratulate each and every member of the Sinclair’s team. The success we have experienced is all down to their hard work and dedication.”
